Welcome to the Hill Street Farmers' Market. The market takes place every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8.30am until 12.30pm in the carpark of the Cathedral of St Paul in Hill Street, Thorndon.
Every week producers from within 350km of Thorndon bring their lovingly grown and produced fresh, edible products to this vibrant setting right in the heart of New Zealand's capital. Whether you live locally or are visiting Wellington, why not come and see what the Hill Street Farmers' Market has to offer? See our Stallholders
From time to time, the Hill St Farmer's Market runs competitions and promotions. To hear about these special events first, subscribe to our regular email newsletter by sending a message to info@hillstreetfarmersmarket.org.nz with "subscribe" in the subject line.
We put aside a stall each Saturday for not-for-profit groups and schools to use, free-of-charge, for food related fundraising activities (for example, sausage sizzle, strawberries and cream, hot soup, baking). The stall is available on a rotational basis by application to the Market Manager (manager@hillstfarmersmarket.org.nz).
Having music and entertainment at the Hill Street Farmers' Market makes it even more enjoyable for everyone and we would love to hear from anyone wishing to perform at the market. To apply, please contact the Market Manager (manager@hillstfarmersmarket.org.nz).
